Romania will attract more tourists in the future
Dren Youan first arrived in Romania 26 years ago when he visited the ‘marvelous Balea Lac‘ ‘. Then, the French continued to travel through Romania, admiring the mountains, valleys and villages and enjoying themselves in theaters in our country.
From the Revolution onwards, Youan say that it has changed in our country, but not the scenery and hospitality of Romanians. ” I like the mountains of Romania because this is the only country in Europe where can you find a real world, with locals dressed in costumes, simple and hospitable shepherds’ says Youan.
In 2013, the French created a Facebook page entitled suggestive ‘je t’aime Roumanie seem Youan’(Romania, love – the Youan), which posts pictures locals of all ages, traditions and landscapes. This page has gathered over 6,100 fans from 40 countries write emunte.ro.
Asked what he would recommend a foreigner to visit the first time in Romania, Youan answer: ” First, I would recommend Fagaras Mountains, of course, which are dominated by the highest point in the country, Moldoveanu (2544 m), and is a attraction for lovers of mountain sports. Strangers I would urge him to go and in the Apuseni Mountains, where you can see wonderful Scarisoara-. Or it could make hiking through the Retezat Mountains, which are renowned for their glacial lakes. Do not forget Bucegi Mountains, which are very popular for well-marked trails and cabins which are open all year (…) My opinion is that Romania will attract more tourists in the future not only for the mountains, but simply beauty and, especially, for the authenticity of places’.
